We are pleased to announce that MTT GmbH has successfully received the audit berufundfamilie certificate! This award is an important milestone for our company and underlines our commitment to work-life balance.

That is why we have applied for a certificate

We are a young company with a modern working culture and a dedicated team. We have a keen understanding of different life situations – whether as young parents, caring for loved ones or dealing with chronic illnesses. In order to further promote the compatibility of work and private life, we develop targeted measures that are summarized under the term family-conscious measures – embedded in our comprehensive understanding of work and family.

Our previous work-life balance measures

MTT GmbH has always attached great importance to promoting a good work-life balance. Our measures to date include:

  • Flexible working hours: Our employees can arrange their working hours flexibly to better meet their family commitments.
  • Mobile working: We offer the option of mobile working (where tasks allow), so that our employees can work from home or on the go.
  • Contined payment of wages in case of child illness: Ongoing wage payments during child illness: In the event of a child’s illness, we provide full wages to allow our employees to care for them without facing extra expenses.

We want to continue improving!

As part of the certification process, our employees worked together to consider how the corporate culture at MTT GmbH could be improved. We are delighted that our managing director, Stefan Renckly, has approved all the suggestions. These include the implementation and/or review of the following measures (selection):

  • Support workplace & place to retreat: We are planning to set up a retreat and childcare workstation that offers space for short breaks and also allows children to be brought to the office in the event of childcare being unavailable.
  • Holiday childcare (review): We will examine the possibility of providing in-house holiday care for the children of our employees.
  • Stress prevention & leadership seminars: We want to ensure that our executives receive optimal support through stress prevention measures and leadership seminars.

What does the audit berufundfamilie certification mean?

The certificate, awarded by the boarding committee of berufundfamilie Service GmbH, is a mark of quality for sustainable work-life balance. It is based on an audit process in which existing measures are recorded and individual development potential is systematically developed further.

The audit not only defined strategic goals, but also specific measures, which are set out in a target agreement. These must now be implemented or reviewed as necessary during the three-year certification period. The practical implementation will be reviewed annually by berufundfamilie Service GmbH.

Outlook

The initial certification for the audit berufundfamilie marks only the start. We will keep striving to enhance and broaden our efforts to balance work and personal life. We aim to establish a workplace where every employee feels at ease and can effectively manage their work and family responsibilities
